Weddings in New York City are almost always guaranteed to be beautiful classy affairs. There are so many treasures to explore behind all the concrete and so much to inspire creativity and love. Lauren and Olivier brought so much of this to one of the classiest and most beautiful NYC weddings I have had the pleasure to photograph. Lauren wanted a classic old world feel to her wedding. Getting ready at the timeless New York Palace, saying their vows at the historic St. Patrick’s Cathedral and finally celebrating at the exclusive and elegant Harvard Club sent us all back in time. However, no matter how beautiful the details and locations are at weddings the most important thing to them is the love felt and expressed between the bride and the groom. Lauren and Olivier had no shortage of this. The way they looked at each other throughout the whole day, the words said during their vows, the beautiful toast that Olivier had for Lauren and the way they felt every time they danced together spoke volumes of how freely love flows between them. It was truly an honor and pleasure to be there to witness such love. I will never get tired of saying this: it is such an honor to be trusted to document the celebration of the beginning of a family. I am all the richer because of it. Congratulations Lauren and Olivier!
