Our hearts are so grateful for the incredible turnout and support we had for our two India Benefit Shoots. Families have been so supportive and judging from the photos they all had such a fun time getting their photos taken. For our second and final shoot we were given a beautiful fall day. It started really chilly but warmed up as the day went on. We have absolutely loved doing these and as exhausting as they are we look forward to doing this again sometime in the future. Below is some information on what we are doing with the funds raised from these sessions:
Kim, Ana Sofia and I will be traveling to India in January to offer help and services needed to the Asha House. The Asha House is a children’s home where Kim lived and worked at a few years ago and developed a strong relationship with the people there. We’re looking forward to serving there encouraging the staff, feeding a leper colony, providing materials for the children and other needs they may have. Of course we will be taking photos from this trip and hosting an Art Show in October 2012 to also benefit the Asha House. We’re so excited to be able to use the work of our hands to not only benefit and document these beautiful people here in the United States but also to be able to use the fruit of this to give and benefit the beautiful children and people of India.
Thank you to all the families that came out to support this cause. We will update you after our trip on our blog and show you the children and people you helped support.
